Family Steer Roast T's

In 2006 I decided our infant daughter needed a pastel colored Sport Death onesie to match the traditional logo of Senior Haus for SteerRoast, an even that's been celebratorially roasting meat in a weekend celebration for students and alums on the first weekend in May for 50+ years running.

And thus was born a family tradition. Sometimes we got the shirts done in time for Friday night, sometimes in time for Saturday afternoon.  Recently it's not quite every year -- and not just for the kids -- since now we have quite a collection to choose from, K isn't growing as fast, and L can use his sister's old shirts.   We've probably been inspired that many years there have been student-made "official" Roast shirts these days, too - some with visual and word plays on the logo, and a lot more steers heads instead of Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail skulls. The courtyard during Steer Roast is no longer a whole lot of identical Sport Death t-shirts like it was in the 90s.  We are kind of goofy about adding our own little bit.

After 9 years of this I realized we didn't have a nice album documenting it all, but had scattered pictures (mostly easy to find in the May folder of their respective years, at least!) so I've collected them here in one place.

Sport Roast!
